NovoAndina Ypadu or Mambe Ceremony Style is based on truxillense leaves from Peru. This product is dark green with some brown tones. It does not contain the dark ashes of the traditional Mambe and the Mambe extra Strength or Max. Coca Leaves have been slowly roasted to green – brown color, slightly fermented under traditional methods for alkaloid’s extraction and has a particular after taste.
The leaves undergo an additional dehydration process that can take 2-3 days, and the final product gets milled in a super fine -smooth powder, light to the touch. It contains ashes of yarumo from the cecropia tree (Cecropia sciadophylla or Cecropia peltata) Quinoa and sweet – sour Lucuma a berry typical of Peru, Bolivia and Chile which is high levels of polyphenols and carotenoids, antioxidants that can help prevent cancer and heart disease as well as diabetes. The blend creates a balance between sweet and sour.
The used ingredients give the mambe a strong, fruity, sweet -sour flavor. The formulation provides electrolytes to the mix to make it easier to absorb and enjoy. This Mambe contains 85% pure fermented coca leaves, 2% Yarumo ashes, 2% quinoa ashes, and 11 % other natural ingredients, fruits, activators, and alkaloids from the same coca, which remain trade secrets. Ypadu or Mambe is not meant to be chewed. Start taking 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon of Ypadu to the mouth (about 1-2 grams) without swallowing it. The Ypadu powder is placed between the gum and cheek like traditional coca leaves, moistened with saliva, and gently sucked. Do not chew or crush the bolus. Just keep it wet enough while it dissolves for 15 – 30 minutes. You can increase the intake over time, but a small amount is recommended as a starting point to get your body used to improve absorption gradually. You can consume it the same way as chewing tobacco or even sublingual for faster energy.
This particular formulation works the best with ambil in an 80-20 ratio. You will need the size of a pea ambil drop for a 1/2 teaspoon of ambil ceremony.
